About Income Factory
We built Income Factory because every covered-call tool we found was either built for traders who already understood options, or built for advisors who wanted to charge a percentage of your assets. We wanted something for the people in between.
Why this exists
Covered calls are a sensible way to generate income from stocks you already own. The strategy isn't new, isn't exotic, and isn't risky in the way that "options" tends to imply. But the tools for actually doing it as a regular person are uniformly bad.
Most options platforms are built for traders who watch the market all day. They assume you want to scan options chains, calculate Greek letters, and react to intraday moves. If that describes you, you don't need us.
Most everything else assumes you want a professional managing your money — at the cost of a percentage of your portfolio every year, plus their incentive to keep you trading.
The audience in the middle — people who already own stocks, already understand what they own, and want a simple way to earn income from their portfolio without becoming a part-time options trader — didn't have a tool that fit. So we built one.
How we work
Income Factory does one thing: every Friday morning, you get a one-page email covering every stock in your portfolio. We target monthly options, so most holdings only need a decision from you about once a month — the email keeps you current on what's running quietly in the background and surfaces an illustrative covered-call analysis on the one or two holdings that have something actionable that week. You read the email, place the trades you agree with at your broker, and move on with your weekend.
We don't have access to your brokerage account. We never see your money or your shares. The data you give us is the list of stocks you own, how many shares of each, and a few preferences per holding — taxable vs. tax-advantaged account, and how willing you'd be to have shares called away. From that, we run our methodology — described in plain English on our Methodology page — and show illustrative covered-call analyses on the holdings that need a decision in a given week.
What you do with that is up to you. We're a tool, not a manager.
What we believe
- Plain English over jargon. If we use a term like "delta" or "in the money," we explain what it means. If you've been intimidated out of covered calls by jargon, that's the failure of every tool that came before us.
- Conservative defaults. The default strategy isn't the highest premium — it's the trade we'd be most comfortable making with our own portfolio. If you want to be more aggressive, the dial is right there. But we don't push you toward it.
- One price. We charge a flat monthly fee that doesn't change with your portfolio size. We don't sell add-ons. We don't have a "premium" tier with better analyses. The product is the product.
- You make the trades. We never have access to place trades on your behalf. Every trade is a decision you make, at your broker, with your fingers on the keys. That's the only configuration we trust.
- Transparency about what we don't do. We're not financial advisors. We don't time the market. We don't predict where stocks are going. We don't claim to. The product works because it doesn't try to do those things.

Who's behind this
Income Factory is built by Bandwidth Productions Inc., a small team based in New Jersey. We've worked together on software products for years. We use Income Factory ourselves on our own portfolios, which is the test we apply to every decision: would we want this for our own money?
We're not a venture-funded fintech with a team of fifty. We're a small shop trying to build a tool we think the world is missing. That has tradeoffs in both directions — we move quickly and listen closely; we don't have a 24/7 support desk. We think the tradeoffs are right for what we're building.
How to reach us
